Privacy Policy

This explains what we collect when you use Nexus, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect:

  • Account details you give us — username, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
  • Purchase and license information — which plan you bought and when it's active. Payment card and crypto wallet details are handled entirely by our payment processors; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Basic technical data — things like IP address, device/browser type, and license activation activity, used to keep accounts secure and licenses tied to the right user.
  • Anything you send us directly, such as messages in a Discord support ticket.

2. What we use it for

  • Creating and securing your account.
  • Processing payments and activating your license.
  • Delivering updates and keeping the client working.
  • Responding to support requests.
  • Detecting fraud, abuse, and license sharing.

3. What we don't do

  • We don't sell your personal information.
  • We don't share your data with advertisers.
  • We don't collect data from inside the games you play beyond what's required to run the client itself.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary data with a small set of third parties that keep Nexus running: payment processors (to complete your purchase), our Discord server (if you choose to contact support there), and infrastructure providers that host our website and licensing systems. Each of these providers is bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We don't use cookies for third-party ad tracking.

6. Data retention

We keep account and purchase data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for fraud prevention and legal/accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time — see below.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold on you at any time. To make a request, open a ticket in our Discord and our team will handle it directly — we don't currently have a dedicated email inbox for this, so Discord is the fastest way to reach us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — hashed passwords, encrypted connections, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

9. Changes to this policy

As Nexus grows, this policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

10. Contact

We don't have a public contact email set up yet — for now, all privacy questions and requests go through Discord support. We'll list a dedicated contact address here once one is available.
